As a critical component of her role, she verifies that every vehicle’s GPS system is functioning correctly. Ensuring operations remains seamless and efficient, she regularly schedules vehicle services (typically 1-2 per week).

Communication and Coordination

One of April’s regular tasks is communicating with customers about the need for site investigations. Often, as the first voice of Cardinal Strategies they hear, April confidently addresses: 

  • customer concerns about drainage and erosion issues
  • clearly explains the investigation process
  • coordinates schedules with construction managers and sends proposals to customers
  • collects payments and sends reminders as needed
  • helps determine the next steps after site investigation is complete, including helping research and prepare the process for managers to create the scope of work and coordination of scheduling project timelines. 
  • ensures all necessary paperwork is prepared and filed promptly, allowing for a seamless experience for all involved.

Reports and Invoices

April’s role also involves a substantial amount of paperwork. 

  • Tuesdays: she dives into the red folder to review invoices, ensuring that all financial matters are in order
