Regular scheduling for vehicle services —typically 1-2 per week—ensures that operations remain seamless and efficient for the work crews.

Communication and Coordination

One of April’s regular tasks is communicating with customers about the need for site investigations. As often the first voice of Cardinal Strategies they hear, April confidently addresses customer concerns about drainage and erosion issues. She clearly explains the investigation process to them. Next, she coordinates schedules with Construction managers and sends proposals to customers. April also collects payments and sends reminders as needed. After the site investigation report is complete, April helps determine the next steps. These include helping research and prepare the process for managers to create the scope of work and coordination of scheduling project timelines. She ensures all necessary paperwork is prepared and filed promptly. This allows for a seamless experience for all involved. April’s excellent communication skills are key to the success of this process for everyone involved.

Reports and Invoices

April’s role also involves a substantial amount of paperwork. First, on Tuesdays, she dives into the red folder to review invoices, ensuring that all financial matters are in order. Then, her Fridays are dedicated to sending out aging reports, which she has been fine-tuning throughout the week. This consistent editing ensures accuracy and end-of-month up-to-date information. It also helps to identify issues needing urgent attention, such as necessary follow-up or movement to collections.
